CREATIVE CONSTRUCTIONS
A class that allows children to explore concepts of construction, building types, and architecture throughout the year. Students use conventional and unconventional materials, loose parts, and their imagination to design and create structures related to books, landmarks, and other topics of study.
LITTLE PASSPORTS
A global awareness class that allows students to dive into learning about other cultures. Each unit focuses on a different international culture and includes music, songs, stories, art, clothes, and/or culinary experiences.
STORYTELLING ON STAGE
A class to foster a love of reading, stimulate imagination, and introduce students to the dramatic arts. Students participate in a monthly book study where they learn to retell and act out fairy tales, fables, and familiar stories. They also compare and contrast different versions of the same stories, and use storytelling props and costumes to bring stories to life.
